Ladies and Girls Section

The ladies and girls section at Old Elizabethans was started in 2003 and the number of female cricketers is growing each year.

The club has teams playing in the Women’s Midlands 40-over League, Worcestershire Women’s Development T20, Super 8s and Worcestershire Women’s Indoor League.

Old Elizabethans is now a Worcestershire Women’s and Girls’ Cricket Hub.  This gives women and girls from other clubs the opportunity to play competitive cricket while remaining a member of their own club.

The women and older girls train on a Wednesday evening at the Memorial Ground from 6pm to 8pm throughout the summer, and Tuesday evenings with the senior men’s section during the winter.

Younger girls age groups train on a Friday evening with the Juniors and have dedicated female coaches.

Women’s cricket is available to all whether they have never played before or are of County standard.
